discharge and itching?

Hi Ladies, I'm 12 days post op and I have had 4 days of brown/red discharge constant, but now it's itching.

I called Dr. today, he's having me come right in for tests for Vaginosis?

I'll report back after appointment, anyone else have this come up during stitch dissolving? I had cervix removed and figured this was par for the recovery course..but turns out it is a red flag.

Ah thoughts?

Re: discharge and itching?

I had unbearable itching for several weeks. Figured it must have been all the drugs they stuck in my IV. "This is for the nausea." "This is to help you sleep." "This is for the pain." "This is for even more pain." "This is to help you increase your IQ." Hey, wait a minute! I also had discharge which only cleared up a week or so ago, and I think I'm at 8 or 9 weeks. My doctor was super unhelpful about it, saying that it's normal, for some people.

I had vaginosis, well do i guess! I am a week and a half out, no symptoms, but just a course of antibiotics.

Re: discharge and itching?

wow, this was not in my "be prepared for" notes XD. Mine was a yeast infection they said...and the discharge is gross. I'm glad I held onto those bags of pads. Gross.

Two diflucan pills cost 8 bucks. If it relieves this itching, I'm not gonna complain.
