5 months post op hair loss help

Hello i was wondering if you have overies and are losing hair is that normal ? I am 35 and had a hysterectomy devenci in july 2010 . I have hair in the drain and when washing i try to pull water out of hair but is comming out at the roots. When i comb when wet there are lots of hair on my shirt i try to avoid washing so much for fear of loosing more hair. Was wondering if its hormonal ? Hany help or ideas thanks.

I would call my doctor. When I was severely anemic I had hair loss as a symptom. There are many reasons for hair loss. Contact your doctor!

Have your thyroid checked when you go see your doctor. I had severe hair loss and a friend suggested getting my thyroid checked just to eliminate the possibility. Sure enough, I had an under active thyroid, so I am taking a low dose of Levoxyl. I still have a little hair loss but not like before. Good luck!

hello thanks will do . I have had the thyroid checked last year they stated it was normal range. but i guess it could change .
