Hi to all my Sept. sisters

hi, i had my surgery on the 20th sept, some days i feel good, other days i feel really crapppy,i still cant do what i really want,my body does tell me for sure!!!
I am surprised that i dont feel 100% as i know alot of ladies do by now.
I too still have the **** swollen tummy, still cant feel comfortable in my pre-op pants!!!! Gggrrrrrrrr,
I just keep saying to myself that one day ill wake up and feel like a million dollars, and,i know i will.
If it wasnt for this site though,i surely would have gone mad!!
It is fantastic to vent frustrations, get advice and most of all get comfort from all the other ladies,so thankyou everyone out there
Best wishes Donna

Hi to all my Sept. sisters

Hi all, I am 7 weeks tomorrow and feel quite good. Started back to work this week and it is going fine. At my 6 week checkup my said I can do any thing, no limitations. I started excercising right away but am taking it slow. I have a lot of catching up to do, although I am amazed at how many sit ups I could do right away! My belly is also still very swollen and seems to get bigger as the day goes on! Wonder how long it lasts?
Hope all is well with everyone else.

sept. sisters

Hi Sept. sisters,
I am just past 6 weeks and will be going back to work on the 19th. Just have started feeling better in the last week or so. Still get sore and tired. The mind is willing, but the body is just not there yet. Got good news from my doc - I am no longer anaemic, my iron levels have come up. It is the first time in a year that I actually have color in my face!!
I can't wait to be back to normal. Of course, the weight gain from recovery and laying about is a whole other issue...............had to buy new pants yesterday. What a bummer!! Cannot blame it on the fibroid anymore. I hope to be back at the gym very soon,
Good to keep in touch with all of you Sept. ladies,

Patch blisters???

So good to hear from you guys! I have a question for you guys.... I am on the climara patch, that is the generic one, I have been since 3 days after surgery. All seems to be ok with the way I feel but I have noticed in the last week or so that they are starting to blister around the edges a little. Could that mean that I am getting alergic to them? I go to the dr on the 29th, I was just wondering if any one of you have experienced this and what you done. Hope to hear from you real soon......

Hi to all my Sept. sisters

HI Sept Sisters!

I had a tah/bso on 9/20. I have had a somewhat slow, in my opinion, recovery due to other circumstances with family that I had to give attention to.

I still get swelly belly by the end of the day - working to much I suppose. I went back to work on the 5th and have worked at least 45 hours a week each of the 2 full weeks I was back. I am glad to have the upcoming 4 day weekend with Thanksgiving!

Overall though I do feel SO much better than I did prior to the surgery. It's been a great decision for me!!!! Although I do sometimes still think I should start my period....LOL....wonder how long that will last!!!

So glad to hear you all are doing well. Take care, and take it easy...remember...we are all still recovering!!!!

Hugs,
Karen

Hi to all my Sept. sisters

Hi Betty Boop, I too went back to work on the 5th and also still get swelly belly as the day goes on. Other than that I feel great, the only problem I am having is with the incision. It is vertical and has developed a keloid and itches like crazy!!! I just bought the band aid patches to help heal it and at least it is helping to take the intense itching away. Has any one else had this problem and any ideas?
