TAH sharp short pains lower abdomen

I'll be 4 weeks post op on monday. Today we went shopping to a few stores. Getting in and out of the car several times. Came home, rested then felt great. Now I'm having a few sharp short pains in my lower abdomen. Anyone else experience this?

Those are normal as long as they are short. Another thread had an explanation that is it is the stitches that you are feeling. Apparently, surgeons are using a new technique to suture the vaginal cuff and that is causing more sharp pains. I don't have a cuff so what I get are more like twinges. My doctor said those are perfectly normal. Hope this helps.

I also have been having twinges today, after hunching over the computer for hours (I am obsessed with Apartment Therapy right now).
