Squats & Bladder falling??

Hi all. I have been working out and making alot of progress since I was realeased from doc. I have lost 12 lbs and 13 inches. One of my main exercises is squats - been really good to firm up my rear and thighs. I do up to 300 a day.

But here is my question - I go a message from a friend today that said her doc told her to never do another squat because it can make your baldder to fall out. My doc did not give me any restrictions what so ever. Anyone ever heard of this? Is it true?

Thanks

Re: Squats & Bladder falling??

I've honestly gone back and forth in my own mind with what I can and can't do. I will say I made the mistake of worrying too much because I go by what others' doctors have told them.

your doctor was the one to see you, your insides, and to help make you better. I think everything depends on the patient. I have learned (finally!) to go by what my doctor tells me because she knows me and my history, which is clearly individualized.

I have decided I'm just going to practice some common sense with things and I would definitely suggest talking to your doctor about your concerns. Good luck! I definitely relate...

Re: Squats & Bladder falling??

Thank you. That's kind of what I was thinking. I got no restrictions at all. I have asked around and no one but this one person. I have been doing them for weeks and havn't had any troubles.
