swollen genital area

is it normal for your private parts to be swollen after surgery.the triangle part where hair grows and then also your outer lips.Mine feel hot and swollen.

Yes, it can be normal to have swelling in the genital area following surgery. It will probably go down in a few days to a few weeks. If you feel unsure that things aren't normal or recovering well, please give your doctor a call.
