7 days post-op davinci and mini-arc with torn stitches

7 days after surgery I made the mistake of going to the grocery store with my husband for Christmas grocery shopping and did way too much. The pain was bad after 45 minutes. I also had red blood again.

Checking the next morning, I could see a lot of swelling around the urethra. I called the urologist on call on Christmas Eve. He said if I was still continent (yes), then mini-arc was holding. I could see white material. He said stitches were torn and it was normal.

I am not sure how normal it is. That was 3 days ago. I now have a yellow discharge and it looks like something is torn definitely. No fever but occasional chills. No UTI symptoms.

Am I overreacting? Is this normal? I have been resting as much as possible since then.

Thanks for any guidance.

I didn't have your type of surgery but if something doesn't seem right call your doctor. My thoughts are better safe asking than not and being sorry. My doctor made it very clear to me if anything didn't seem right to call her right away.

Sending wishes that everything is fine for you.

Thanks so much, ladies. I am seeing the urologist tomorrow. It really helps to hear you say that I am doing myself more harm than good by blaming myself. That is irrelevant at this point. Thanks for your understanding and support.
