12 days post op and a light pink bleeding please help

This morning I woke up and had a light pink blood on the toilet paper it has stopped now but the pain was awful. The worst pain I've had since my surgery. What was that all about? It hurt so bad I almost went to the hospital but instead I took a vicodin and got the pain down. Why did it hurt so bad and what is the pink blood all about?

Hi there depending on your surgery I had a TAH so cervix and uterus gone so I have a man made vagina known as a vaginal cuff I have permanent stretches there and the surgeon told me to expect some fresh blood and 10 days where the stitches stretched the same can happen for dissolvable stitches too. Hope it dies down for you

I had my uterus and cervix removed I got to keep my ovaries. I just couldn't believe the pain. Now i'm scared to go to the bathroom.

call your doctor and make an appt! ...you won't feel better until you are sure you're ok!

I agree you should call and at least talk to your doctor. Light post op bleeding is no big deal but not the pain. I had light bleeding for almost 4 weeks but there was never any pain. Pain is something I think you should check out to be sure there is nothing to worry about.
