That is definitely frustrating. Surgery is stressful enough as it is. Is there an office manager you can speak to about this individual? As another poster said, talk to the doc next time you have an appointment. Maybe he is unaware of how his office staff is behaving. I've had similar issues in the past with my urologist's office. Great doc that has helped me immensely with my problem, but flaky office staff.

Being told she is 'busy' is NOT acceptable. Maybe she doesn't realize who is paying her salary? Duhhhhh, you are busy too and not getting paid for it! That is what I tell people when I get the 'busy' response. Good for you to be annoying! You may have to get more tests before the surgery not to mention making your own plans. The Dr. definitely needs to know how his front office is acting, I doubt he would like it. Or maybe he has an office manager you could talk to.
