Real time in the Operating Room

hi there - i've read so many comments about surgery...i'm curious how many hours were you told you'd be under and how many hours were you actually under?

I was told 2.5 and was in for 3.

I was told about an hour and a half, and I was in for about an hour and 45 minutes...

I was told 1.5 to 3 hours and I was only in for 1.5 hours for a LAVH.

I was told 2 - 3 hours. It was a bit under 2.5. My time in the recovery room was much longer than expected because I had some respiratory issues.

I was told 1 - 1-1/2 hours. I was in for 2-1/2 hours.

I was under 2 hours. I can't remember specifically how long the doctor told me it would take but I expected to be under about 2 hours.

I was told about 3 hours but was in for about 4 1/2. I had an abdominal incision though.

Dr told me today it would take one hour for my dVTH/BSO and about another hour in the recovery area

I was told 2 hours and was in 1 hour and 50 minutes.
