4-year happy hysterversary

Hello, everyone.

I was almost surprised today to realize that this is my 4-year hysterversary. It has gone by so quickly! I really had a stellar recovery and have been very well since, though we still don't seem to be able to get my iron levels to rise. The days of soaking through pads; endlessly washing underwear, clothes, and sheets; and living on painkillers and hotpacks seem so long ago! I can't say I've never looked back: sometimes the fact that I never did manage to have children still makes me sad, especially with the death of my father a few months ago. But we take what we are dealt. Ultimately, it was the right decision, the only decision, and it gave me back my life.

I wish you all the smooth recovery I have had. I hope you can all greet your hysterversary with a smile.

Re: 4-year happy hysterversary

Hi Dawn!

: Happy 4th Hysterversary! :

I too lost a parent this year (my Mom in May) and my Dad turns 90 this year, also in May. I found myself feeling emotions I never knew I had. I understand your saddness. But it sounds like you are dealing with this well. That's great. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Take care!!
