Why is hip and back pain associated with adeno?

Does anyone know why hip and back pain is associated with adeno? I have extreme lower back pain and recently my hips have been aching so bad. some days its hard to walk. I'm scheduled for hyster april 21st. sometimes I worry my pains are from something else and after surgery I am going to find out it wasn't adeno at all... YIKES!! my surgeon feels 99% sure I have adenomyosis.

Re: Questions about Adenomyosis symptoms

Pressure from swelling of the uterus in other organs. In my case adeno was causing pressure in my scaitic nerve.

I don't know why specifically and I don't have my pathology back yet as I just had my surgery on Tuesday (for suspected adeno) but I can tell you I had that hip pain (that got worse as the day went on) and now it is gone. My lower back is still sore but I don't know if that is just from the surgery and the fact that I can't really stand up straight yet.

Re: Questions about Adenomyosis symptoms

love your heart!! how are you feeling??
I'm so anxious to "not feel" these symptoms. I feel crazy, like people cannot believe that this "adeno" could be causing all this pain.
I hope you have an awesome recovery!!! thanks for sharing!!!
