Rectocele Surgery June 8th some ?

Hello. So glad I found this site. I was DX with a rectocele a few months ago and am scheduled for surgery. They will go in via the vagina and if all goes well I will have one night in hospital and be sent home. On the bladder test my outter muscles are great but the inner muscles are a little weak ONLY when my bladder is completely full and I am coughing and pushing. I have elected not to get the mesh hammock at this time. As part of the surgery they will be tightening the vaginal walls. They will "clean up" the vaginal opening by fixing my episiotomy, removing left over hyman and reducing the hole/entrance to the vagina to 4" in circumference.
My question is has anyone had vaginal rejuvenation at the same time of a rectocele repair? Did you get a smaller hole than 4"? Whatever size you did get how many months was it before sex returned to pleasure rather than nerve wracking/painful?

In 2007 I had a laproscopy surgery to remove one ovary and tube which was a great experience. Hoping for the same now

Any replies and/or suggestions for prep and recovery would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Edit: My lover is quite large at 8.5 length and 5.75" girth. However he will not be the man I marry and I realize he is on the larger side of the population.

Re: Rectocele Surgery June 8th some ?

Not quite sure what you are having, but I had a Perineoplasty done which changed the wideness a lot (http://www.miklosandmoore.com/lap_proc11b.php)

It worked out great for me. I am not sure of what I could handle and am surprised they would tell you the final width. I was told that most anything will be able to fit, the bigger person might have to work at it, but it will go in. They said that it was expandible. Now, the first time we were a little tight, but it didn't hurt, actually felt really good. We do it regularly things still fit tight, but not painful and not as tight as the first time.

They told me to make sure you were doing it 2-3 times a week for the first year at least to keep the width correct and not shrink, causing pain.
