Symptoms - Fibroids?

Hi, I'm due to have a hysterectomy for problems that I've been having with Fibroids but I've got a couple of questions relating to some of my current symptoms:

My stomach just last few days seems really swollen but I only have small submucosal fibroids (largest only 2cm), although the Gynae did say that I was 'full of fibroids'. Are there other people that have a swollen stomach without having large fibroids?

Also, I'm very tired (but not anaemic on last blood test) and I get hot and out of breath at the smallest amount of activity - I don't know if this can be a symptom of fibroids? Wondering if it is perimenopause.
