LSH 6/22 home 6/23

I decided to have the LSH mainly because of fibroids (one was 8cm and a 1.7cm and more in a cluster) and irregular bleeding for 15 weeks causing iron deficiency anemia. This went misdiagnosed for years, IBS, pelvic prolapse cystocele and rectocele, one Dr. was actually so rude I asked why my stomach looked like I was about4-5 mos. pregnant he told me to lose weight and exercise! I was put on several different birth control pills to control heavy bleeding which usually worked the first 2-3 months and stopped so they would change the pill felt like a guinea pig.
Anyway the surgery went fine except the gas they pump into you for the surgery I think is the worse pain ever hard to breathe, chest pain, shoulder and rib pain, hard to eat. The gas bubbles are still slightly there after 2 days but the pain is less severe. I couldn't believe I was discharged after 24 hrs. They told me I'd be there 2-3 days.
My Dr. also repaired a tear in the tissue that holds the bladder. I'm doing well feeling okay just run down and tired.
A huge thank you to Robin who helped me in the hyster-store the items she helped me to order for after the surgery were much needed and got the items out to me so quickly I got them in time before the surgery. I wasn't on here very long actually I had just found the site maybe a week or 2 prior to surgery didn't have much time to read or review things, so I'm still pretty new here. Great info in the booklet too.
