Things are waking up down there... lots of gas, but no BM. Actually starting to feel discomfort from that.

Just had a cat scan to make sure that there were no adhesions or bleeders. Antibiotics in IV to get rid of this bladder infection. Guess we will try and take the Foley out tomorrow and try to go home again.

Gatorfanatic, I'm so sorry. I'm glad they caught it in time. Just a little speed bump in this journey we are all on. Take care of yourself and good luck with everyone. Please keep us posted.
Big hugs.

Am I the only one that came home and actually had basically diarrhea? I'm wondering if it's left over from the bowl prep beforehand...

wow, frodnew, I wish I had that problem. The only way to get that is overdosing on apple juice. But then again, that might cause more belly cramping.

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jun 27-Jul 03,2011

Thank you all at this site for your prayers, hugs and insight and of course all the extensive wealth of information! I could not have done with out it all.

Castle visit was June 27th for a TLH. My surgery lasted longer than usual (5hrs) due to extensive scar tissue from surgeries before age one. Everything gone including cysts and hopefully years of excruciating pain.

Allowed to leave castle next day after surgery (YEA). Had to urinate and pass gas. Gas came first then #1. Home I go......

All went well, up and around today (at home) gently with minimal pain. Things that helped were;

My own gown
linen spray/body spray
small pillow (gift)
prayers
great DH

Still hurts to cough or laugh but time will heal all.
Hugs to all!
