Wish you all had my doctor

After reading some of the posts I really wish you could all have my doctor. I had my pre-op today. He took all the time in the world to answer questions and make sure I was comfortable with everything. He says he will sit with me in the operating room until I am asleep just so that I know he is there and in case I have concerns. It makes such a difference to like and trust your doctor. (He's very cute too!!!)

Thanks ladies, reading all of your posts has helped me so much. My turn is Thursday, 13th, and frankly I can hardly wait - I am sick of being so run down all the time.

LOL! If we weren't in different states I'd think we have the same Doctor. You are right, it does make a difference (I think) when you have such trust in and respect for the person doing your surgery. Every day I count my blessings for this Doctor that has gotten me safely through so much.

Wish you all had my doctor

I am so glad you have a great doc too. My doctor was so great at pre-op. I was in the waiting room waiting for what felt like a life time with all of these pregnant woman and babies and even one who just found out she was pregnant had the ultra sound pics and was just glowing. I started to cry. I am not sure why. I don't want more kids(most of the time) and I am ready for life with out pain but here I am in the waiting room looking at a nurse please help me. She brought me back and left me back there. Goes to show you showing up an hour early isn't always good but like I said I am ready. So Dr. C comes in and wow was he so understanding. He says do you have questions and I said hang on as I pull out my list that I printed from the pull down menus and he was so impressed. He answered every question even told me what some things were which I wasn't sure of. LIke a tummy binder. He then gave me a little lecture after he explained the surgery. He told me my womb and ovaries do not make me a woman my mind and soul do. He said I will be more of a woman after the surgery. That I haven't had a chance to be a woman with all of the pain that life has dealt me. Wow where was he years ago because he looks like god to me now. Good luck s
