6 weeks post-op and still have pain with urination on the 3 anitbotic and have a strange foul discharge the doctor says its infection and it will go away but when: this was not a choice i had to have the surgery so i opted for the di vinci thought recovery would be faster but have had a abscess that required more sx and more hospitalization hot flashes and night sweats that are unreal and can't even take hormones no appetite severe loss of engrgy and blood had to have 4 weeks of iv iron therapy because i did not want a blood transfusion and still have abdomianl pain ever day wondering if anyone else has similar issues wish i would have had another option this is terrible

*hug* I am so sorry that you are not having an easy recovery process. I did not have the same procedure or problems that you did. But I did have a complicated one I had a TAH with one ovary removed. Woke up to find that I had blood clots in my right ovary and another 4 inch one in a vein heading to my lower heart. SO know I am stuck on blood thinners for the next 3 months. Top that off with the fact that a small part of my incision is not healing...2 inches wide and 2 inches deep.

But I have got my hormones checked because I SWEAT massive amounts constantly and major hot flashes. The doc said it wasn't caused by hormones because my level is very high part of normal.

Anyways, I know it is not the same think you have had or even the same symptoms. But I just wanted to let you know that they are people out there they have unique situations as you seem to be having.
