Could problem be from rectocele and rectal descent?

Hi ladies! Just wanted to see if anyone has been diagnosed with rectal descent and rectocele or any other prolapse issues at the same time? My problems have all been centered around "#2" and am starting to wonder if rectal descent could be part of the problem. My gyn and uro/gyn think the TVH with suspension and A and P repair will take care of my problems but I'm not so sure. I guess I would need to see a colorectal surgeon to have this checked? Thanks for your help!

if they do a defecography you will be able to tell for sure, that is what they did before my surgeries, what one doctor thought was a prolapsing rectum was actually hemmeroids....yeah it is kind of a creepy test, i was actually laughing at the end of it because it was just so wild

That's pretty funny! Gotta have a sense of humor about these things. I don't know why my docs (and I've seen more then 1!) didn't suggest this. Thanks for your insight. I will definitely try to keep it light!
