Fatigue sets in after pain leaves?

Hi all. I had a full davinci on the 13th (5 days ago) and absolutely needed the percocet up until I awoke this morning. I was fine taking just tylenol and ibuprofen this morning and was even able to be up and around for a few hours. Now I have shaky legs and addomen and feel weak and took a nap for 45 minutes. I NEVER nap. Is this fatigue and is it normal for a davinci hysterectomy

It's completly normal to feel tired. You just went through major surgery. My surgery was almost a month ago, and I still lie down and rest every afternoon. In the beginning, I slept a lot too, but after a while it got better. Hope your feeling better soon.

It could be either fatigue or your body adjusting to not having the percocet, or some of both. It's normal, though. Even a davinci hyster is major surgery.

I had a da Vinci just 2 days ago, and I was told to expect to be tired and to sleep as long and as often as I need. It amazes me that I can sleep so much and still need more. I guess this is what recovery is all about. Best wishes to you.
