To make things easier

I am 5 days away from my surgery date. We have 4 children here, myself, my dh, and my sister all living here. That makes for a LOT of dishes.

I plan on stocking up on paper plates, bowls and paper cups. My dh works nights, and when he comes in, the last thing he wants to see is 3 loads of dishes stacked up in the sink waiting for him to do.

It means more trash to go out, but less mess in the kitchen. Also makes it easier to feed those purr babies.

Just something that dawned on me and thought I would share =)

Hi Kiarana

Hi Kiarana
My surgery is the day after yours. I went to the wholesale club yesterday and did the same thing. I can totally relate, we have 5 children and the dishes never end. Come to think of it the laundry never ends either. I bought a ton of easy throw in the oven or micro type stuff. Thankfully my husband is an awsome cook but he is really gonna find out in the next few weeks how much those children eat!!! a couple of months ago there was this really neat gal posting that gave us step by step directions how to cook for a month or two and freeze. Well I printed everyone of them and even bought the book she recommended. I said to myself "I am going to be so organized as to eliminate stress". Well I think I totally stressed myself out trying to become the super woman Martha Stewart type that is not me. I have come to the point where I am getting whatever it is for the day done. We home-school and are participating in a Geography bowl with other families (we are Greece) I must go now as to make cookies get son to boyscout party, cook dinner, and head off to Geography Bowl and leave within an hour and a half. So Why am I on this website????? I haven't got a clue. I was feeling a little nervous and always feel better visiting. You are in my prayers lots of love Jacqui

To make things easier

What a great idea!!! With so many in the household, that is definitely the way to go. Anything that saves time and aggrevation of worrying about having someone to do the dishes is the way to go. Great suggestion Jennifer!
Best of luck with your surgery. You will certainly have lots of help when you get home and thats great!!
Holiday Hugs
