Not another doctor....!

Has anyone experience leg/joint pain with a low dose of HRT -vivelle dot (.05) and progestrone (componded) 50mg/day? My legs and feet swell terribly. Surprising enough I dont have any swelling in my hands or breasts.
My MD doesnt think the burning and swelling is hormonal and wants me to see another MD - for possible arthritis! I have never had joint pain until this past 3 weeks. I can't say I've really changed any of my HRT which I have been on since Summer. I also take 500mg of magnesium/day. Any thoughts would be great!!

Not another doctor....!

Hi, I had pain in my ankles and feet on estrogen alone. But it was helped alot when I changed estorgen and added progesterone. Could be you need to adjust one or both up. Guess I would not hurt to check for something else but it maybe a simple solution of changing doses. Hope you get this figured out soon. Do go read some of the info on www.hormonejungle.com on the pull down menu
