had my procedure done

Hi everyone,
I had my leetz done on 12/13, everything went ok. I had it done in the hospital because of the biconate uterus and cerivx. I do feel like a semi hit me. And I don't understand why? I think it could be the waiting for the thing to be over and done with. Now i have to wait for the reports to come back, crossing my fingers for clear margins. I had a tendency to fall apart after the fact. My husband doesn't understand this. He thinks everything is over because I had this done. But it's not until I get the "all clear sign".
thanks for all of your support.

had my procedure done

Hi, Kathy!

Glad to hear your procedure went well. I know it's really hard to wait for those results to come in, but try to relax and just think positive thoughts. I felt kind of puny for a few days after my LEEP. I think it was a combination of the physical trauma, the emotional stuff (relief that the procedure was over but the concern that not EVERYTHING was over), and of course all that thinking that was going on.

I hope your results come back great and that now you are finished. Good luck!

Glad to hear that your procedure is done and I do understand that you can't rest until you have the results. A lot of people just can't understand the stress until they have to experience it for themselves. Try to keep your mind on other things for now and stay positive. We are all here for you if you need to get your feelings out! Keeping you in my prayers!!

had my procedure done

Hi:
I'm glad your procedure went well. I've just been through what you are going through. I had a cone biopsy a few weeks ago. The waiting for results can be the hardest part. In my case, I had to wait almost 2 weeks for final results. I hope you get your results back sooner than I did and that all is well.
All the best,
Gayle
