TAH: IsTAH recovery similar to c-section recovery?

I am scheduled for a TAH on Wednesday Oct. 12 and am a little nervous on how the recovery will be. I have had two c-sections with both my children and my doctor is going to make my incision through my old c-section scar. My question is will the recovery be similar or is this wishful thinking on my part since I know what to expect with that type of recovery. In the past I was feeling well enough to walk, drive, shower and do light cooking two weeks after both of my c-sections - is it possible I will feel the same this time around or will the removing of an organ make the recovery that much slower and more painful. Hopefully someone can answer my questions and ease some of my stress and worry, thanks!
