Mini-Periods

I told my gyn today during my 5 week post-op exam that I had spotting for a couple of days during my 4th week. I hadn't had spotting the whole time except for those 2 days. I told her it coincided with when I was supposed to get my period. She agreed that my cervix may still be responding to my cycle of hormones. Of course, it won't be as bad as it used to be--not by a long shot. However, I wanted you all to know that this can be very normal.

I'll see if it happens again next month--then I'll know...

Does this mean we should keep all those supplies? Ellenstorm

The spotting was very minimal for me. I used panty-liners only because I wanted to protect my underwear. If you don't have your cervix (or your ovaries) you don't have to worry about mini-periods.

I still have my cervix and one ovary.
