Robotic Hysterectomy - My doctor was Excellent

Hi Everyone:

My doctor did the robotic hysterectomy since I had no other choice. I had severe myosis and 3 fibroids on the inside and outside of my uteris that weighed 10 pounds. I was turned down for artery uterine embolization and myomectomy. I tried to donate to the Red Cross in Cherry Hill and passed out and found out that they could not use my blood but for only research. My doctor, hospital, his staff and Nurse were GREAT. I recovered in 3 days. I got up out of bed and walked the entire hospital and out to the car the second day. Walking helps a lot after surgery. This was painless from the beginning to the end, however, I had gas pains. I took Citrucel, drank a bottle of prune juice and liquids and WALKED - then I took my mind off of it and watched tv then it released and I felt instantly better. I look and feel better then I ever had in my life. I am so thankful to God now. I am a small and fragile 45 year old woman and if I can do it and you need it done, you can do it, too.
