My castle visit

:sing: I am singing the praises of my gyn who is finally going to take me to the castle on January 11. I am anxious, but will be "free at last, oh mighty God, free at last" I have suffered enough! If any of you wonderful sisters have any one lines,please shoot them my way. Any trick? I have read all the pre op messages, maybe now I should read all the post op and jungle ones.

Please pray for me on January 11, there is power in numbers!

Hang in there Cindi! That positive attitude about the new you post op will make a big difference in you whole experience. It is true that there is strength in numbers and this site has been a God sent. My dr. gave me the info and I have thanked her many times for it, and i will thank her again I,m sure. Today is my 1 week hysterversary and I am so glad that I did this for me!! Keep on reading and gathering info and remember we are all with you. I have only one tip but it is important! No petroleum products in chapstick does react with oxygen. I needed oxygen unexpectedly and had my fav Carmex on OUCH Blisters bigtime!!!

Good Luck on your day at the Castle! Sounds like you are doing the right things - asking questions and gathering information. Reading posts generated a lot of questions for my doctor. It was one of the best things I did to prepare!

My big tip? Get a heating pad and take it to the hospital with you! It was my best friend for many weeks! Good Luck!
