Happy 6 months, ladies!

How are all of you??

I'm back to normal! ... Normal sans the endo/adeno/cyst pain pre-op, but plus a tingly foot and some weight around the
middle (yep, prob my thyroid, have an appt soon). I'm "running" - or trying to build back up to "running" (I'm so slow I have to use the quotes).

Take care!!

Happy six months! I still have this low back/hip pain and the weight gain/tiredness. Hourly its going to get better. I have been getting deep tissue massage but i'm wondering if I should be doing more to strengthen my abs. Well, I hope we all continue to be better

[quote=jrumker;3810217]Happy six months too! Ok, let's see....I gained weight, my boobs went up two sizes, my digestive system is off, got yeast infection, I'm still moody (PMS), but I must say I don't miss the pain and suffering from a period. Good luck!

Nancyjlove, I have all of the great PMS symptoms too...just missing the actual menstruation. But o don't miss that part at all. Sine months are rather painful with the tender breasts and fullness, cranky, etc. this heat were are having isn't helping any either. It could be much worse so i'm grateful for everything. Good luck all!

Wow It's really been six months!! Except for my probable incisional hernia (I tried to see the doc about it Monday morning after waiting 3 weeks for an appt. and her power was out, so I'm probably just gonna go to urgent care one day to get it diagnosed, once we get back from the lake next week) I am constantly reminded how much less stressful my life is w/o the horrifically heavy and long periods!! January 4th, 2012 will live in my memory as the best day ever!! Now if I could only loose another 10 or 20 lbs!

I had laproscopic sugery and the muscle under the upper incisiona split open and the lump I had was about the surface area of of a tangerine so this past Monday I went and had incisional hernia repair sugery where they cut open the old incision & inserted a piece of mesh to hold my stomach muscles together. So here I am once again sitting in bed recovering from yet another surgery! Hope the rest of you are doing better than I currently am.Back to the hydrocodone (now which I hate) and the belly band to hold the cold pack.

I'm glad to hear your incisional hernia's been taken care of and you can start on the road to really feeling better, but I'm so sorry you had to have another surgery. Hope the recovery is quick and easy.

I'm still working on getting the hrt right. Sigh.

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jan 02-Jan 08,2012

Hey, ladies! I missed the six month mark bc I was gone to camp for the summer. I am feeling pretty good, but got some kind of intestinal parasite at camp that has left my digestive system shaky. I've lost sixteen pounds (not from the parasite) so far. I was inspired by my husband, who has now lost 44.

As far as the girlie parts go, I've been feeling good. Then, my husband and I spent some time together last night, and I am spotting today. This hasn't happened since ten weeks. It was granulation tissue then, but I'm not having the other symptoms of that this time.

It's just light tan and not much, but I'm concerned. Any ideas? Should I wait and see what happens or go in to be seen?
