How old were you when you had your hysterectomy?

I was 41, exactly 3 weeks before 42 birthday. One year ago, had laproscopic surgery to remove endo, didn't work. Now I had TAH with one overy left. Feeling much better.

I was 41. I am 42 now. I had no choice due to cancer that was found.

I am 37 - had my TAH/BSO 3 months ago today. I feel great & the sex is even better!

49. If we had known about how bad the endo was when I was much younger, maybe it would have happened then! Oh, the pain of those periods . . . the rocking back and forth . . . how the tears flowed.

Everything's gone--uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, hormones.

I was 48. I had no idea that I needed it. I thought that it was normal to feel awful. So glad that I did.

Three weeks after I turned 38, and am still questioning my decision, thanks to numerous complications....

I am 54 and had my SAH/BSO one month ago. The doctors started to tell me 10 years ago I should have the surgery but I didn't think I needed it then. Found another doc who told me I didn't need it yet and would let me know when. Six weeks ago she told me it was time. I had my one and only son at 39.

I was 42.

I was 30, but turned 31 just 3 days later! Absolutely the BEST birthday present I've even been given.!!!

I had just turned 34, had been asking for a hyst for 2 years!
