7 weeks post op today!

Hi All! Well today I am 7 weeks post op- abdom hyster- uterous only removed- each week that passes I am feeling better and better! I had my surgery on a wednesday and went home on friday- the first week i pretty much slept and hurt most of the day! I did little walks room to room- week 2 i was taking short walks outside- from there walks increased- drink alot of water! my right side seemed to feel great 2 weeks after surgery- my left side is STILL tender and slight pain! i think i developed adhesions from surgery on left side because I feel tugging/pulling feeling on left and none of that on right side. I am just trying to ignore it because it is more annoying than painful and my dr says that unfortunately this is just something that happens with the surgery. It does help when I gently push down on that side with my hand. Im a bath person so it felt great to finally be able to take baths at 6 weeks! My doctor tells me that things will still be healing inside for months but i can tell you- with each week that passes you will feel better!
