Raven, thanks for the info on insurance! Hopefully, it will all work out quickly!!! I stress over things like that.

Pinkii, glad you have a plan and it looks like things will go well!

Kelly, I'm so glad you are having a good day! I am too and I'm beyond excited as it is my first!

Hey sisters,
Kelly , so glad you woke up feeling good. My days are good now, but my nights are still a challenge. Doc gave me Sonata yesterday for sleep. I took it last night and I was still up from 4 to 7 am! I am supposed to combine it with Melatonin, but I didn't start with both in case I had a reaction to one. I guess I will take both tonight and see what happens. Doc thinks if I can sleep well, maybe the headaches will be less and the blood pressure will come down. I HATE taking meds to sleep, but I also cannot function if this continues. Anybody have experience with Sonata or Melatonin?
Now I am patiently waiting for the gas co to replace our meter ( it is leaking since the gasline break) and then I can go for a long walk. I have been sticking close to home, but today I feel adventurous and I am going to try my old route
Have a good week sisters! Extra prayers for those of you returning to work.

Wow! You get something for sleeping? My doc just refered me to the sleep clinic instead... I called the clinic back and said, I just had surgery 6 weeks ago and want to give my body a chance to repair and get back into a "normal" rhythm before I do the sleep clinic... I do have Lorazepam for my anxiety and that helps with my jitters and sleep ....

Oh, Raven, I just saw your post! Yeah, I had heard about this a couple years ago, but didn't think about it as something that could help me with affording HRT/ERT. Great idea!

kenjcors, yeah on the block party!

Between 2-5 am sounds good to me! An insomniac fiesta!

I agree! I am having the worst time sleeping, and I am ready for drugs! (this comes from someone who hates taking pharmaceuticals) Actually, you just reminded me, I have some melatonin on hand. I got it to help my dog stop freaking out during thunderstorms last summer. Maybe I should try it.

Good luck with the gas company.

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jan 30-Feb 05,2012

Well yesterday I had a pretty good day and walked cleaned and vacuumed. Today the right side of my belly hurts so bad, sort of around the incision but only when I do anything. Maybe it was to early to vacuume? I feel so lazy resting all the time! But I guess I need rest as much as I can before I go back to work

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jan 30-Feb 05,2012

Just got back from my 6 week post-op and apparently I had tiny tears/popped stitches at the vaginal cuff. The doctor used silver nitrate to cauterize. I know that a few of you ladies had this done...what was the recovery time afterwards? I have a pinchy, crampy sensation going on!! :-(
Just when I was starting to feel great...so upset!!!!
