Good luck Miel, I am so sorry! I know how scary it is. I also agree go see your dr. I am positive you should not be bleeding...... Without a uterus there should be no bleeding this late after surgery. I am sure the dr. Will fix you right up and maybe you need 12 weeks of rest?? Doesn't sound so bad. That's what I have to do.

Hi sisters...just popping into say hello and see how everyone is doing. I've been feeling pretty great this week! Went and had a massage yesterday for the first time and it was amazing!!! Decided on a whim that I needed to schedule in a massage at least once a month...which is what I did...I'm booked until next December! :-) Figured I needed to continue to pamper the princess for at least a year right????

I hope that you are all feeling good and if you're not quite there yet, please continue to rest and relax and I'll be sending you lots of healing happy thoughts!! :-)

That's great news! I wish I was still restricted from vacumming & laundry.

I wonder if I should call my doctor?

I am just a little freaked out because up till now I have had no bleeding. Not one little bit.

Thanks for your help!

Miel - Do you still have your cervix? You can still have mini periods if you do. I would still call the doctor to be on the safe side. Good luck!

Re: Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Jan 30-Feb 05,2012

Okay...every time I start feeling great and think I'm done with procedures and complications, something else presents itself...UGH!! I have been feeling pretty great this week, last night I noticed that I was having a mild crampy, pressure sensation high within the vaginal wall again...where I had the silver nitrate treatments the past couple of times. I called the doctor this morning, expecting him to say not to worry about it or maybe we need to do another treatment of silver nitrate...instead he said that he wanted to see me tomorrow and that I may have to have a shot in there. He said to take 800mg of Motrin before I came in. I told him that I have plenty of my vicodin left and asked if I should take one of those and have my hubby drive me...he said that would be a good idea. I'm freaking out now!!! Have any of you sisters had to have a shot up there???? What's if for?? Please help...

I don't know what it's for...the doctor said that he was going to take a look in there, and depending on what he sees I may have to have a shot...I was so freaked out when they said shot I sort of spaced out...my hubby will go with me tomorrow and so he'll help with the questions, but I'm really nervous! I'll let you know how it goes.
