Pain where my uterus used to be...sitting at my desk crying

My LAVH was 5.5 months ago. I started having pain 5 days ago about where my uterus used to be. It is similar to the pain I had right after surgery...when I had to have a BM it would make me cry out in pain. I've had that happen a couple times since surgery but this time the pain doesn't go away after BM and has been getting worse. It's worse when I lay down or stand up...still hurts sitting down but not as bad. I called DR and they want to see my but my appointment isn't until Thursday so now I sit at my desk quietly crying in pain and fear. I am soooo very scared it is something serious. I have no idea what it could be. I need some encouraging words and prayers. Oh my gosh I am scared.

I will pray for you. Can you take some OTC pain meds in the meantime? Did you tell your doctor how much pain you are in?

Re: Pain where my uterus used to be...sitting at my desk crying

Hi Alyeska,
I am sorry you are in pain. Try to relax since being tense will make the pain worse. Take slow deep breaths. Think of the most soothing color you know, then focus that color into a ball of light. Inhale slowly, and imagine this soothing ball of light bathing the place where it hurts, exhale slowly and imagine the pain disolving and leaving with your breath. Repeat.
Call your doctor and ask if they can see you sooner than Thursday.
If not and your pain continues, maybe visit the ER?
Sending you healing

Do you have any pain meds leftover from your surgery? Try taking 3 advil and see if that helps. Hang in there!
