Re: 5 days post op husband jerk

I am so sorry for you. My husband was a jerk when we first got home from hospital, yelled at me and told me to just sit down and shut up and let him wait on me, he was mad because I got up to get a glass of water. After that he calmed down, and has been nothing short of superman, doing everything he can to help me, I think he was just overwelmed at how bad off I was. I had complications and had to come home with a catheter, for 8 days and it was not fun, but he was great.
Your husband's behavior is unforgivable, IMHO. I hope you get a divorce after this, as you will be better off than you are now.
I was married the first time to a man who acted just like your husband, if I was sick, it was inconvient for him, and he acted like I was sick just to make his life hard. So...I was never sick, no matter how sick I was.
If he only knew how many times he ate food with spit on it. It's hard to be married to an A hole. My present husband is a saint by comparison, and I thank God everyday that I have him.
Oh..my reward for 20 years putting up with husband #1 ..he left me for another woman! I sent her a thank you card.
Divorce was hard, but hysterectomy with bladder sling repair is harder by far. Remember that, the hard part will be over when you are healed. Ask for help from your church and council from church friends too. They will help you, now and in your future.

Re: 5 days post op husband jerk

Oh my dear, that is horrible how your dh is treating you...i think yu should talk with your pastor to have a chat with your dh and give him a reminder of how the husband is supposed to treat his wife,,the husband is to treat his wife like a Queen not a door mat...he should be ashamed of himself as he is definitely not walking out the walk of love and honor towards you...he sounds like a poor example of a church going man and husband...ime sorry to sound so harsh but in all honesty your husband needs to hear the truth that he should be embarrassed of how he is treating you...and i hope your pastor doesnt sugar coat things,,a pastor is to stand for the truth and speak it out...a man who is corrected and chastised is the hope to turn him around and he should get on his knees and ask your forgiveness for treating you so horribly...Again i hope you take this in pure love as you should be treated with love and respect and honor...I pray that God will talk with your husband and humble him to see the errors of his ways....I pray peace and courage and the strength of the Lord over you and your family....

Re: 5 days post op husband jerk

woukd you be abel to go home with his mom? she seems to care for you and knows how horribly her sin treats you. I agree he may not be physically abusing you but the emotional is just as bad. you can not just get back to it 10 days later. I am almost a week in and i can not even imagine it. My love and prayers are here for you.

Mine was April 4 and I couldn't imagine going to work yet. I haven't been able to leave the house except doctors appointments and an Er visit.
