The book is good but by the second one I'm wondering if the author is a nympho or not. Lol.

Hi to everyone, I have had bladder pain since the cath was removed. I was told by the nurse that sometimes it takes a few weeks for the bladder to recover. It will be 2 weeks Wednesday since the cath was removed. I have pain during and after urination, pressure and discomfort. I cannot empty my bladder completely and last night I was having problems going all together. I have a call in to the Doc already, waiting for his response. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've added it to my kindle wish list Right now I'm reading the new Sookie Stackhouse book.

I want to go get a shower but that seems like too much work.

Hello ladies, I woke up with no temp and no blood but feel wiped out from feeling achy all night. My DH made me breakfast with lots of pears & prunes with hope to help my difficult BM's. I called the dr about having a 100 temp all weekend and blood yesterday and he said the spotting is normal (whew!) but the temp may be a virus and to just rest and call him later. I finished my antibiotic on Saturday, so he didn't seem concerned about renewing it.
On another note, I think the weepies are setting in. I've been crying my eyes out for no reason! To make matters worse, we watched 'The Notebook' last night and I cried harder than the first time I saw it! I also cried at the morning service in church. I'm a wreck and my DH is looking at me with disbelief! What gives??

I am just achy today...I think my body is telling me I did too much over the weekend. Back to bed for me.

I have my post-surgical check-up on Wednesday. I hope the doc and I are on the same page about my progress. Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

Ah, the weepies. Day 8 was my day. Totally normal as the hormones balance out, but meanwhile it makes you feel like a basket case! Mine only lasted a day, though right now I am still more prone to cry than usual. Let it all out, sister!

I've never been too shy about talking about bodily functions, but I NEVER thought my life would be so centered around making a poop! Today is was a golf ball and goobers. There has got to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Tomorrow I go for my 2 week check-up. I'm looking forward to getting the chance to ask the doc the millions of questions I have. I am going to try writing them down today so that I don't go blank when it comes time to ask.

I hope everyone is resting well and pampering themselves. You'll only get to do this for so long, so ENJOY.

Greene73,
It hasn't stopped, but is pretty light. I talked to my doc this morning and she told me to keep an eye on it. She also said that I have a urinary tract infection, so I'm starting antibiotics for that now. She said that may be producing some if the blood in my urine, but certainly not what I'm seeing on pads. And I'm sore today on the side where they did most of the work. Back to Tylenol for me! Thanks so much for checking on me!!

The nurse called me and my pathology was all clean. So excited that this will soon be all behind me.
