Da Vinci 24 hrs po

Hello everyone! I am Dawn. Yesterday morning, I had my Total hysterecomy via the Da Vinci robot. I am feeling pretty good. Obviously sore..but not in any extreme pain. 4 incisions..the largest around the belly button. Have not been on any pain meds, although I did recieve morphine right out of surgery. I would have been sent home late yesterday afternoon, but I always get sick from the anesthesia..so they held me overnight. Getting ready to have my first taste of food here shortly.
Overall, I am happy with my desicion to have a total hysterectomy done. I had large ovarian cysts an a pelvic mass, on top of endometriosis. All of which have caused me much grief for so long. Looking forward to being pain free.
