6 weeks Post Op - TAH, BSO, Bladder Sling, A&P repair

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks! I would say I feel about 90-95% normal. Pain is minimal but endurance is still low.
Post-op appointment was at 5 weeks and I got a good report - except that my vagina isn't healed as it should be. 4 more weeks before sex and need to use the premarin cream religiously (which I admit, I was slackiing on).
He reminded me I had a huge surgery and said that 90% is GREAT at this point.
All three abdominal incisions are healing nicely - but still feel a little tingly and itchy.
Doc gave me the green light to go back to work on Wednesday. First 2 days were a little hard - downhill after lunch both days and fell into bed as soon as I got home. I had to get up from desk and walk regularly. By Friday, I felt more normal and did dinner and a movie after work!
I have been able to sleep IN my bed ON my side the last two weeks and have even had a couple of nights that I slept all the way through without waking.

I felt SO bad the 1st three weeks that I thought I would NEVER be close to normal again. Now at 6 weeks, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's great to feel close to normal. This site has helped tremendously and I am anxious to be able to support other ladies going through this process!
