Deep cleaning

Did anyone else do this before surgery? I can't seem to clean enough! My surgery is next Thursday and I have a HUGE desire to get my house spotless before I go in. I've even been cleaning carpets! While this is all well and good - it's exhausting me! I can only do so much before I have to stop and rest because I'm so tired.

As a mom of 3, I just want everything to be in order before I'm out of commission, but I am thinking my expectations are set a little high.

Re: Deep cleaning

You will be so happy you did it. All of my rooms have stayed pretty clean and that helps as I rest.
I thought I bought out the grocery stores but my DH and kids have not complained once about " there is NOTHING in the house to eat" lol.
So clean clean clean.
Hugs to you thru your days before you will be on the other side before you know it.

Re: Deep cleaning

I agree with Krisb
I am 5 weeks post op and I cleaned and shopped like a crazy lady before surgery. It has made my recovery so much better. Your going to spend a lot of post op time not doing anything so you can heal properly. Not having a zillion things staring you in the face that need done will help tremendously! Clean, shop, and prepare your house and family now.It also helps keep your mind focused on recovery instead of sitting around worrying about all the " what if's" of surgery.
