I desperately need a hysterectomy

Hi everyone !

I've been to 7 private gynaes who have all refused to do my hysterectomy.

I have severe menhorrhagia and as a result of this, chronic anaemia. Im 26 with 1 child and have been poked and prodded continuously since I got my period when I was 11. I've had blood transfusions, iron infusions and was on iron injections every second day thorough my teens.. And I'd just bleed it all out. And not light bleeding- flooding, literally flooding.

In regards to the gynecological treatments I've had all the tests and they can't find out why I have menhorrhagia. I've also tried all the treatments- even taking 8 primolut tablets a day and losing every strand of my hair. I'm also in severe chronic pain all the time from the cramps.

I desperately need a hysterectomy but as I said I've been denied so so many times I don't know what to do. The drs have become so blasé they don't even want to help me.

I am older than you (36) - have you had a scan done & any other surgery to confirm the stage of your endo in the last year? xx

I don't have endo. I clinically have nothing wrong with my reproductive system. I just haemmhorage out all the time and im in constant pain.

Is it because of your age?
I guess you've thought about not wanting any more kids.

Did you find someone who would help you Sami? I may know someone whowould be good to talk to, but they are in Tasmania.

Have you had full blood work done to see if you have a bleeding disorder? A factor 7 bleeding disorder could cause heavy flooding periods, low iron, cramping. Perhaps you can check into treatments? Best of luck to you.
