Scared

I have a prolapsed uterus and I was told that I could 1. Wear a passel for the rest of my life or 2 have a hysterectomy. I go for my pre op consult 3 days before my 35th bday and if I agree surgery the very nxt day. I am terrified! I have 2 kids but the thought of never having the choice is heart breaking to me. I pls need someone to help me find a way to deal with this

Have you considered getting a second opinion for your hysterectomy? I know it helped me accept that this was what I should do for my health.

I think what you're feeling is quite normal. It is very frightening and overwhelming. As Meka mentioned, there are lots of articles and hints on here. I would suggest making a list of your questions and either ask your physician or consider a 2nd opinion. They should be able to tell you if there are alternatives and help you make the best choice for you personally.
