Unhappy - Going crazy Day 12 post op Going crazy Day 12 post op

The last five days been feeling like ok, with urine problem progressing worse. I fee like i have to go the bathroom every hour, with little come out. At times its cloudy. most time are light yellow or seem to be clear.
with this strangest feeling when I am just about emptied out i have a mix of pain with this all over tingaling in my chest head legs and only my left arm. not my right arm. Told doc about the cloudiness emailed says its fine if no fever. the urge to go is getting worse and i have small window i feel good is when I take a percocet and about an hour or so after I feel better. I have an appt with a regular doc tomorw for follow up for something else but i have to tell her how this is driving me insane and im so tired too.

what could all this mean? hubby left today for busniess trip and home alone with 10 and 7 year old kids

I know how awful bladder pain and urgency can be. Cloudy urine is often an indicator of a UTI. I am confused why your doctor would say you don't have an infection just because you don't have a fever. I have had countless UTI's over the last few years and the ONLY time I had a fever was when it was such a bad infection it spread to my kidney. I strongly suggest you go get a urine test right away to rule out a UTI. You can buy OTC Azo Standard for bladder pain to help until you get the problem resolved. Let us know how you are doing.

Re: Going crazy Day 12 post op

I went to my primary since i had appt anyway for follow up of migraine headaches. I told her all about the above, and she did a urine sample this am. I got a call this afternoon and was positive. will be on abx soon. why did they not listen to me last week when I said cloudy did not have severe urge urination till the weekend. and now a small fever. went to gyn too as they wanted to see me, even though i saw my primary saw other doc in office not my own, she barley touch me and the stiches out. when my primary care press on my pelvic it was obvious i was in pain, gyn barley touch. Is there anyway a infection can get to my pelvic region ? case today was worse and barley walk pain in front and back.

Re: Going crazy Day 12 post op

I think since you are only 12 days post op you will be in some pain in your pelvic region due to the bladder infection. If you get a foul odor or foul smelling discharge vaginally you will want to call your surgeon back. I am sorry they didn't take your complaints seriously.

Re: Going crazy Day 12 post op

Did you get any pyridium for the bladder pain? Regular pain meds aren't going to help your bladder pain too much. It is sold over the counter as Azo Standard.
