Vaginal Dryness

I am 7yrs post op from TVH but have one ovary left. I have experienced menopausal symptoms off and on for a few years now but recently it seems to be more. Lately, I feel really out of sorts, just different, weepy, sleepy, and extreme vaginal dryness. I have even noticed that I have a smell which I thought was an infection but I have no infection symptoms. My doctor wants me to start Premarin for the dryness and the vaginal walls thinning. Is this smell part of being so dry? Anyone else with this? Any suggestions?

It could be. Hopefully the Premarin will help with the dryness.

Is he giving you Premarin creme or premarin pills?
I occasionally used the creme. I did have a weird smell. I described it as being kind of a sickly sweet. But I imagine everyone is different.
