Re: It just won't stay on
Which patch are you using? There are several different patches, I have heard good things about the Vivelle Dot sticking better than others.
You can read more about your options for ert in the articles at http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/view_hoj.htm

Estriol.5 I'm feeling completely unprepared at this point when dealing with HRT! Do many options and having to take into consideration my medical history I'm not sure where to turn even to get started

Re: It just won't stay on
Estriol? Do you mean Estradiol? Sounds like you might be on the generic patch, which I have heard is big and bulky and doesn't stick well for many women. Give your doctor a call and let him/her know what's going on.
I used the Climara patch early on in my recovery. At first, I didn't have that many problems, than it kept bubbling and wrinkling, falling off etc. I blew thru a box of patches fairly quickly.

Re: It just won't stay on
I've been taking the pill for 2 years, now. While I was offered (and tried) the patch, I have a reaction to latex (which the adhesive contains) and kept breaking out in rashes under the patch. Is there a particular reason that you don't want to take the pill?

Re: It just won't stay on
I'm the worst person in the world about remembering to take pills and life is hectic I have tried setting an alarm but without fail I'll be no we're near my meds when it goes off half of the time.

Re: It just won't stay on
I completely understand. I've taken to carrying my meds and a bottle of water in my purse. Easy to take them no matter where I am.
