After TVT & Rectocele surgery, problem?

Hi everyone, I had a TVT & large Rectocele repair about two weeks ago, which was complicated by other health issues including bowel & spinal problems.
All appeared to be well immediately after the surgery, then about two days after I came home I noticed that I was needing to urinate every 30 minutes, lots of it with not much warning. I spoke to my Doctor on the telephone & he gave me antibiotics. I have three days left of a seven day course & things haven't improved.
The strangest thing is that I only have one incision in my groin where the tape is threaded through, it's on the right side, very low down & the stitches are still in there, very irritating! How was it possible for the surgeon to insert the tape with only one incision I'm wondering? At first I thought it must be my imagination, I can remember thinking it was odd I only felt sore on one side in my groin when I was in hospital, but thought my skin might still have been numb and that's why it wasn't sore the other side, however my H has checked too, 100% sure there's only one!
Any ideas or advice would be great please.
Thanks to all!

Re: After TVT & Rectocele surgery, problem?

I don't know. I have two tiny incisions. They woke me up during the surgery to have me cough so he could adjust the tightness of the TVT. I had two little steri-strips that came off at about 10 days.

There is a new type of surgery with TVT where they don't make the two incisions. Maybe that's the type your surgeon performed. Definitely ask when you see him/her next.
