Hot flashes messing with my mind

Am I just imagining things, or does a hot flash bring along a reduced ability to concentrate? I'm having a really rough time when the flashes get going--it's hard to focus my mind on work.

Yes they do. I got extreme anxiety and panick when mine would hit. I could feel it right before it hit I would get this feeling go through me. Im not sure why I dont mind them when I work out they dont bug me but when they wake me they are like some is lighting a fire in me. We are so different how we respond. Are you on hrt it took me along time. I do belive the omega blend I take has helped reduce them. I do use hrt vivelle patch and estrogel. I get mild ones now but still suffer from insomnia lol

I can't even think when one hits me!
