Re: Da Vinci Patients

A high white cell count in your urine means inflamation. You can have urinary tract inflamation without an infection. I've had this problem a lot. It can be caused by anything that can irritate the urethra, like the catheter. It can also be caused by rough sex or low estrogen levels.

thanks i was worried that it may be cancer. My dad lost a kidney to cancer and they did not remove my nodes yet. so i was wondering if it could have spread?

Re: Cancer found after surgery - questions!

Hi DRAGONJEEP. I'm sorry you have a cancer diagnosis, but glad you found this site. I was diagnosed with adenosquamous 1B1 cervical cancer 2 years ago. I had a grade 3 with lymphvascular space invasion and had to have radiation and chemo treatments to kill any remaining cells. Did you have your surgery done by a gynecologist/oncologist or was the cancer not suspected prior to surgery? I'm not sure about the white blood cells in your urine being related at all, but haven't heard of it before. It's probably not related to the cancer, but something your doctor will I'm sure be looking into. Have you had any scans to stage the cancer? The scans would show if there was spread as well as the node removal. When are you having your lymphnodes removed? Please let us know if you have any questions as we would like to help answer anything we can.
