31 and no hrt's!

I had a TAH on April 17, and I'm at the end of my rope! I always have a headache, so tired, hot flashes! I'm taking apple cider vinegar, and a herbal supplement! My primary doctor told me I look 50 to tell you the truth I feel 60! I feel like the worst Mom and wife. I talked to my doctor and she put me on Xanax witch can be addictive! I just want to feel normal again, I want to feel young again!

Re: 31 and no hrt's!

Give yourself a chance to heal...your surgery was only 6 weeks ago, so you are going to feel tired! I hope your kids can be patient with you. I know it's hard on my youngest (age 10) because I look normal but don't quite feel normal yet. My older kids are very good about grabbing any heavy things when it looks like I'm going to lift one.
I hope you feel better soon!

Re: 31 and no hrt's!

Thank you! I know it hasn't been that long but I thought by now I would be feeling so much better.

Re: 31 and no hrt's!

Tell you what, I was feeling so good this morning and zipping around getting all kinds of things done. Then 1:30 hit and WHAMMO...I was wishing for a nap! Be patient.

Sorry that you are so tired. Hang in there & be patient. Do your best not to push it and ask for help. I wouldn't worry too much just yet. Your body has been through a major operation, even tho the stitches are small. Listen to your body though. I've been having different health issues ever since my operation (it's been over 2 years now). Migraines (can make u feel tired & crabby), low hormones that they can't regulate (& all of the fun side effects that come along w/that!), dry eyes & poor vision, narcolepsy(also known to make a person tired & crabby) and Hoshimoto's with it's many side effects. I was also informed by a saliva test that my adrenal glands are basically shot and in need of serious help. I'm miserable every day. It's terrible. I'm seeing so many different DR's for this & that. It has consumed my life. I'm young. I have kids. I want to live life & enjoy it. :*o(

31 and no hrt's!

I'm 34 have 3 boys and removed 1 ovary while I was preg in 2001, had 2 kids after that. Then the 2009 tumor came back on remaining ovary and so I removed the ovary. Since then I've been on orthocyclen birth control pills. Basically, the pills r preventing me from entering meno pause and living a normal 34 yr old life
