Alot of you will think im crazy im sure, but I really love laying on my stomach and I really want to do this. Im so sick of sitting and laying on my back. Im comfortable with the thought of doing so but haven't as I worry it may do harm?
I have been sleeping on my side with no problems since a few days after surgery.
I dont want to sleep on my stomach I couldn't think of anything worse pre or post op! But I would really love to lay on it and read a mag or anything!
Any idea or experience with this?
Annie I hope things come right for you soon. Im 3 weeks today and things are up and down all the time. What I can do one day I cant always do the next. Fingers crossed this will be short lived for you. What king of surgery did you have?
Thank you! for the most part, I feel good. I still have bouts with gas and abdominal pain. Yesterday I experienced the same discomfort I would usually have on the second day of my period, which, after my surgery, I will no longer have. Tight and weak in the vaginal area and very tired (although I did a lot of walking. I am just anxious to get back to activity, and have over done it a couple of times and my body has not let me forget it!!!
I accidently tried to lay on stomach at about 3 days out to be with our new kittens. It didn't work. Today, I crawled into bed for a nap. I didn't even realize I was on my stomach. LOL! It was shortly after reading this post today so I could hear ZoyaFan's words.
I love sleeping on my stomach (I would have never said that until I couldn't do it). I am 3 weeks out and I tried it last night and felt some discomfort so I moved to my side. My husband says he gets up during the night sometimes and I will be on my stomach so it must not bother me in my sleep. That has been one of the things I have missed the most.
