Do my symptoms sound llike a prolapsed vagina??

I am quite nervous about the fact that my rectum and vagina feel like they are falling out. I have had cramping in my rectum and now heaviness in my vagina. Had complete hysterectomy in 2008 but since then have had no bladder control...I can think I have to go pee and it comes out without warning as well as no muscle control for a bowel movement.
It sounds like it could be prolapsed vagina...but not sure and worried. I guess I will have to endure some humility at
the doctors office.

You could be dealing with a rectocele abd cystocele. It is impossible to say without an internal exam. It's not unheard of to have prolapses after a hysterectomy.

Do you have an appointment yet? A good urogynecologist would be the ideal.

Definitely go get checked. You deserve to know. This is not the way you are supposed to feel. I have this going on right now. I am in a lot of pain.

Went to the doc today had an internal exam he says I have a small rectocele and cystocele but doesnt thinkits causing the problem. Sending me for an ultrasound of the aorta because it was racing.

Also sending me to the gynecologist to make sure...I hate medical stuff I cna't help but self-diagnosis.

I am not sure. I wonder if the whole thing falls under the category pelvic floor prolapse. I feel like the doctor's don't really explain what is happening to our bodies. First the family doctor said my vagina was bowing in and caving in sort of. Then she mentioned a cystolcele. I had no idea what that was. Now my cervix is in my vagina. No wonder sex hurts! Hopefully the racing heart was due to fear and nothing else. Do you have heart problems?

No but I have been experiencing my heart racing... I would have never thought about an abdomen anorysm. The problem for me is the discomfort goes from rectum to bladder to vagina. Then I start thinking I'm not sure where it is... frustrating but I guess that's why doctors go to school for 8 years.

Are you on HRT? I had a racing heart and was sent to a cardiologist. It turned out to be perimenopausal symptoms. Now after my BSO I get a racing heart when my estrogen is low. Just a thought.
