can the urine retention come back

As you all know by now I can pee again, but I still feel like I am retaining. In the hospital when the retention was bad. I was retaining abut 600 to 700ml. Can the retaintion come back to this or will stay the same as it is now . I am retainting about 100 ml. If I do get the retaintion back that I am only passing very small amounts what do I do. Call the doc or hospital or go to a and e.
thanks Alicia
